第二届“新东方杯”英语口语大赛(微博)全国总决赛于2012年4月8日至11日在北京隆重举行。本次大赛以就业为主题，吸引了全国高校上万名学生报名参赛。“新东方杯”英语口语大赛针对全国大学生英语沟通应用能力，以开拓当代大学生国际视野，提升大学生跨文化交际素养，增强大学生职场竞争力为使命。以下为第二届新东方口语大赛华东赛区选手王弘劼的简介。

　　It has been a great honor for me to attend the second New Oriental Cup Public Speaking Contest. During the competition, first of all, my public speaking skills have been enhanced and my self-confidence has increased. What’s more, the job-related theme has propelled me to think more about my future career. If it weren’t for this competition, I wouldn’t give so much careful thought to what I want to achieve in my life. Above all, I’ve been very fortunate to meet with many great minds who share the same love in English and New Oriental. Working with them has given me more insights into team spirit and leadership. For me, their qualities are truly above rubies. Thank New Oriental for providing me with such a precious opportunity and hopefully I’ll excel myself in the final contest。
